OpenTeams builds infrastructure that lets an organization run and own its own private AI systems instead of renting capability from commercial AI subscriptions. Its enterprise offering, an 'intelligence hub', deploys models, data, and agentic workflows inside the customer's own environment so the resulting system stays a customer-owned asset and satisfies data-sovereignty rules. The stack is built on Nebari, the company's open-source data-and-AI platform already deployed in government, enterprise, and research settings, and is complemented by OpenTeams Collab, a free desktop app for publishing, discovering, and sharing agentic workflows. The company was co-founded by Travis Oliphant, the creator of NumPy and a founding contributor to SciPy.
