Lovable is an AI app-building platform that lets people create full web applications by describing them in natural language, a workflow commonly called vibe coding. It generates the frontend, backend database, authentication, and payment handling from a chat conversation, producing TypeScript and React code with native Supabase integration rather than a closed no-code artifact. The company grew out of Anton Osika's open-source GPT Engineer project and was founded in 2023 in Stockholm, with the US entity incorporated in Delaware and offices including Boston. As of August 2026 it hosted around 60 million projects, reported roughly $500 million in annualized revenue, and raised a $400 million Series C led by Menlo Ventures and Scaleup Europe Fund at a $13.3 billion valuation.
