IribaMaps is an early-stage Louisville, Kentucky company building mapping and data tools for the essential-worker labor market — frontline jobs such as healthcare aides, teachers and machinists where the worker has to physically show up. Its first product is a public web map of Greater Louisville that has mapped every frontline essential worker job in the metro, combining where those workers live, where jobs cluster, and how workers actually commute by car or bus across shift schedules. The founder describes it as the first in a planned series of tools and products for employers and, later, workers, aimed at improving job matching.
