A potent and selective oral inhibitor of fatty acid binding protein 5 (FABP5), an intracellular lipid transport protein, developed as a peripherally acting non-opioid analgesic. Its lead indication is chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN), with additional interest in other neuropathic pain, psoriasis, breast, prostate and cervical cancer, and generalized anxiety.
